It has been a busy few weeks here at Art Force, with plenty of community events taking place. We recently had booths at MinneCon and Open Streets, where we met some fantastic community members. We also attended the Northeast Dog Parade because, you know, puppies.
Art Force was thrilled to have a booth at this year’s MinneCon, a Minneapolis trade fair that features all the latest commercial products and educational programing for the interior design and architecture community. 2016 marked the ninth year of the trade show and was held at Target Field. We brought some of our favorite works of art, met with a lot of great people, and saw some incredible booths!
Open Streets: Northeast
Art force would like to thank all those who dedicated their time and energy into making Open Streets of Northeast 2016 an amazing event. These summertime events are only make possible through the hard work of the Open Streets organizing body. The concept for these events has been to allow local and near organizations to set up community based stations across a route within Minneapolis. We view this as an opportunity to build relationships with local business owners, non-profits, and the public.
We on the team had a great time this past Sunday where we met with local business owners, visitors from around the Twin Cities, and those who call Northeast home. We set up shop near the middle of the event and were able to not only talk about Art Force and the business, but we were also able to share a general appreciation with young and seasoned visitors alike! The biggest hits of the day (for kids and adults) was the fill-in mural, as well as our Wings coloring books. Visitors even got some give-out takeaways!
As a note, our drawing for the 16×20 FREE has already happened and the winner will be notified shortly. So stay tuned!
Embarking on a Northeast Journey
What happens when you get hundreds of dogs together in a single place embarking on one noble journey?
Art Force found out at the Northeast Dog Parade, July 19. Lots of wet-nosed greetings awaited those who attended as this parade of pups made its way through Northeast Minneapolis. Plenty of “awws” and connections were made as the hounds and their owners made the rounds.
